It is with deep joy that I greet Bethany Hospital on its 85th Founding Anniversary. For many years this Church Institution has earned the respect and gratitude of the community for the countless lives it has served, healed and ministered. It has proudly professed its mission as a healing arm of the Church. The United Church of Christ in the Philippines, indeed, is proud of Bethany Hospital. For this, it needs our active support, encouragement and prayer.

On this occasion, let us thank God for leading this institution to faithful service and promise of well being. May its contributions to the life and witness of the church awaken us all in joyful celebration of God's abiding grace through the years.
